Vilnius: amazing wherever you go

Vilnius: amazing wherever you go

Everyone has their own special reasons for loving Vilnius, but there are a few things we can all agree on. Vilnius is one of the greenest capitals in Europe and boasts a number of impressive green spaces right in the city – if you love being in nature, we have tons of it. Our city is also home to the independent republic of Užupis, a bohemian neighbourhood that’s as eccentric as it is beautiful. Vilnius is also super compact and walkable – getting around is quick and everything’s close by, but if you don’t feel like walking you can always hop on a shared bike or scooter, or take a trolleybus. The city also offers a great mix of old and new – from historical treasures and a UNESCO-listed Old Town, to contemporary culture unfolding in real-time. Finally, there are almost endless options when it comes to food and drinks – if you prefer experiencing life through your taste buds, all you have to do is bring your appetite and you’ll be full in no time.
